Silent Cry International

Access to food & safe water is a human right. But right now, hundreds of millions of people around the world do not have access to food & safe water, billions cannot access the sanitation services they need. Discover how the Silent Cry International is at the forefront of responding to global food, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) needs.

Providing adequate food, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) services is a key public health challenge in today’s world. Access to safe and sufficient water and improved sanitation, as well as maintaining good hygiene, is crucial to human health, well-being, dignity and development.

Silent Cry International works to provide these most basic human needs, no matter how challenging the conditions. With hundreds of thousands of deaths each year caused by unsafe drinking water, poor sanitation and insufficient hygiene practices, Silent Cry International prioritizes the prevention of WASH-related diseases as part of our comprehensive approach to health interventions. In doing this we focus on the following key areas:

  • providing and improving reliable, safe and clean water access.
  • providing and improving sanitation, and
  • promoting safe hygiene practices.
